This printer cartridge is necessary for the printer to work. The original cartridge that came with the printer, had an expectation to print up to 800 images. Sadly, it only printed approximately 150 images before drying up. Customer service was quick to reply that because I hadn’t used the printer in a few months the color is very difficult to become flowing again. I was told to purchase a new cartridge and to make sure I use the printer at least once a week to keep the cartridge maintained. I will keep track and count how many images I can print from this cartridge.
